Pico Mountain has been one of Vermont's favorites ski areas since its opening in 1937. With a 2000' vertical drop, 7 lifts and 48 trails, Pico has a wide range of terrain for all types and skiers and riders. However, the options at Pico are almost limitless as it is also part of Killington. All lift tickets purchased at the Big K are valid at Pico as well but Pico-only tickets can also be purchased. Future plans include an interconnecting trail between Pico and Killington

Free, daily bus service from Burlington to Smuggs is available this season and the resort features a new black diamond race trail, Snake Bite, on Sterling Mountain. In addition, Smuggs has added 35 HKD snowguns and a Bombardier groomer to its mountain operations.
